Xiaomi will present the Redmi Note 11 and the Redmi Watch 2 on October 28 - L'Éclaireur Fnac

Hyperactive, Xiaomi has just raised the veil on the presentation date of its new smartphones. The Redmi Note 11 and Note 11 Pro will go official on October 28, at the same time as the Redmi Watch 2 connected watch.

Despite the fact that Apple has regained second place in the smartphone market, Xiaomi does not lose sight of its goals. The Chinese brand, which dominates head and shoulders in Europe, never misses the opportunity to introduce new products. The announcements follow one another and only a few weeks after the series. 11TXiaomi has already scheduled a conference for October 28.

The show leaves little room for suspense, as it will be about new smartphones and a connected watch. The event will take place in China, but, as is often the case with Xiaomi, these news should reach our regions a few weeks later.

The Redmi Note 11 and Note 11 Pro will be presented

Xiaomi shared some images on his account Weibo to confirm the arrival of Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11 Pro. While the Redmi 10 available in France since September, the brand is preparing to take a new step with two models inspired by Reno 6 (see our start) or iPhone 13. In fact, the series will adopt flat edges and retain the famous 3.5mm mini-jack plug.

The first images shared by the manufacturer suggest the presence of a triple photographic module on the back, while a punch located in the center of the screen will accommodate the selfie camera. JBL speakers and at least two smartphone models are also expected to be found, although this has yet to be confirmed by the brand. The latter however evokes the “series” Note 11 and Redmi has taken the habit of declining its devices in different variants.

The latest rumors, reported by GSM stadium, reports a Redmi Note 11 equipped with a 120 Hz LCD screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC flanked by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Photography would be provided by a 50-megapixel wide-angle main camera on the rear and a 13-megapixel camera on the front. This configuration would opt for a 5000 mAh battery, compatible with 33 W charging.

As for the Redmi Note 11 Pro, the absence of Qualcomm chips is confirmed by the presence of a SoC Dimensity 920 signed by MediaTek. It would have 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 to 256 GB of storage, in addition to a 120 Hz OLED panel. Another notable difference, the photographic part would revolve around a 108 megapixel main sensor with wide angle. At the front, a 16-megapixel sensor would be placed in the punch. Finally, charging would be faster with the likely presence of a 67 W adapter to accompany the 5000 mAh battery. As to Xiaomi 11t pro, support for fast charging at 120W is mentioned, but this still seems unlikely in this range.

A smartphone compatible Redmi watch

In addition to its new smartphones, Xiaomi would have a new connected watch in its boxes. The Redmi Watch 2 should see the time, but no information about this model has been leaked. It will succeed the Redmi Watch, which has never officially left its bags in France, unlike watches. Xiaomi mi watch and Mi Watch Lite.
