In addition to its new smartphones, watches and headphones, Xiaomi announced this week the arrival in France of three new robot vacuum cleaners to expand its range of household appliances, for all pockets.
It’s not just about smartphones and headphones in life. In any case, at Xiaomi. The Chinese brand formalized this week the international launch of its new products, including the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Watch S1 connected watches and headphones, but also a new range of robot vacuum cleaners for the home.
Here are three new mop robot references that will come to clean your home, with options for all budgets.
A very high-end model to do everything
We have already been able to test the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro, a mid-range model whose number one asset is its extreme silence in action and that we recommend especially if you don’t have a pet or have a very large family. It will soon be available at 449 euros.
More exclusive, Xiaomi also launches an assault on the house My Mop 2 Ultra Robot Vacuum Cleaner. Like its companion, it has a floor cleaning pad, but with higher suction power (up to 4,000 Pa), a three-tier smart water tank, and a built-in 5,200 mAh battery to promise better autonomy (up to 240 m² per load) .
Added to this is a high-performance obstacle detection system with a ToF sensor and internal S-cross technology to orient itself taking into account low furniture or objects left on the floor.
But above all, the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Ultra has a fairly large automatic emptying station, which, however, can collect up to 4 liters of dust in its bag, the equivalent of 10 passages.
The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Ultra is now available for pre-order at Boulanger, Mi.com, Xiaomi Store, Fnac, Darty, CDiscount, and Rue du Commerce. It is announced at the price of 599 euros alone. If you opt for the compatible base, you will have to pay an additional 249 euros.
My Robot Vacuum Mop 2S for Beginners
Taking on the same round look with its eccentric-forward top rangefinder, the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2S lightens the bill, at the cost of a few concessions. Like the other two models in the range, it uses Xiaomi’s great laser mapping and navigation features, uses the Xiaomi Home app as well as voice commands.
Otherwise, the robot vacuum cleaner cuts to the bare essentials and will mainly target small areas as well as new users. It also has three cleaning modes (suction only, mop washing, a mixture of the two), but with less power (2200 Pa) and smaller capacity tanks (300 ml for dust, 200 ml for water).
It is advertised at a price of 299 euros on the Xiaomi site, in black and white.
