The Xiaomi 12 Lite should be between the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro in terms of size, but a class below in terms of power and photo settings. It should be released in France. Here’s everything we know about him.
Xiaomi does not waste time. The brand has just announced its Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro in Europe and rumors of a Xiaomi 12 Lite are emerging in France. They come from the specialized media of the Chinese giant Xiaomiui.
The phone is expected to be “available soon” as its stable test has come to an end. It should take the place of the Xiaomi 12X, an already more accessible version of the Xiaomi 12 that we have not yet released.
The probable technical sheet of the Xiaomi 12 Lite
If we rely only on its appearance, according to the first 3D renderings of the device, the Xiaomi 12 Lite should be quite similar to its older brothers. It would have a significant size difference, yes, with a curved diagonal of 6.55 inches, halfway between the 6.28 inches of the Xiaomi 12 and the 6.73 inches of the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Therefore, we understand that the term Lite, light, would imply a light version of the first two phones in particular in the power of the device, but not necessarily in the actual weight of the phone, which logically should be heavier than the Xiaomi 12.
Its Oled panel would also have a Full HD + definition and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, with thealways active. The fingerprint sensor should be located under the screen again.
It is therefore more in terms of power that the Xiaomi 12 Lite could give up a bit of ground and thus lower its price. Instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, it would be a Snapdragon 778G+, a more trimmed-down chip for the mid-range.
On the photographic configuration side, the Xiaomi 12 Lite would offer three modules: a 64-megapixel main sensor (Samsung ISOCELL GW3) and an ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the other hand, goodbye to the telephoto lens, the 12 Lite would integrate a macro module. Good news too, Android 12, in the form of MIUI 13, would be available immediately.
