The Mi 11 Lite is one of the many smartphones announced by Xiaomi during the month of March 2021. It is a more affordable smartphone than the others, but no less interesting. It comes in two versions: 4G at 329 euros and 5G at 399 euros, but the prices have already dropped.
The Mi 11 Lite is by definition a lighter version of Xiaomi’s current high-end smartphone. As you will understand, concessions were made at the data sheet level to drastically reduce the bill. Here, there is no 108-megapixel sensor or an overwhelming Snapdragon 888, but equally tempting features for the price.
Where to buy the Mi 11 Lite?
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite in 4G version is available at 329 euros for the 64 GB version and 349 euros for the 128 GB model, however, you will surely find a better price with the following table.
Regarding the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite compatible with 5G, it is only available in the 8 + 128 GB version at 399 euros, but its price has already dropped a few euros.
Everything you need to know about the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G have a lot in common. We find the same design inspired by the top of the range model, but here the screen with the curved edges of the classic Mi 11 is replaced by a flat screen, thus leaving more edges around. The AMOLED technology is still there to take advantage of the infinite contrasts and the refresh rate does not go up to 120 Hz, but to 90 Hz. However, there are subtle differences, since the 4G version weighs 157 grams with the Gorilla Glass 5 and 2 grams plus. for the 5G version, but with Gorilla Glass 6.
Note: the Mi 11 Lite 4G offers a 3.5 mm jack port, but the Mi 11 Lite 5G does not.
To continue the similarities, both variants have a 4,250 mAh battery that should be enough to last a whole day, as well as a fast charging system of up to 33 W. This is obviously not as efficient as the 55 W of the Xiaomi Mi 11, but this already ensures that you can recover about 50% in about thirty minutes. As expected, wireless charging is not present, in both cases.
The rear camera module offers a triplet, with a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 5-megapixel macro. Yes, we told you that the huge 108 megapixel sensor of the Mi 11 did not exist. It still promises great versatility, although we will have to wait for the smartphone to reach our hands to really judge its photographic qualities.
The first differences between the 4G and 5G versions of the Mi 11 Lite are also at the level of the photo, and more precisely the camera dedicated to selfies, respectively 16 and 20 megapixels. But the most important of all is the processor built into the smartphone. Then we find the Snapdragon 732G in the 4G model and the recently introduced Snapdragon 780G in the 5G model. And the power of the latter brings great promise in this price segment.
