Xiaomi offers many smartphones that look alike, as evidenced by the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, an almost carbon copy of the Mi 11 Lite 5G. That does not prevent it from being a quality phone, which today sees its price drop to 249 euros instead of the 369 euros on the brand’s official website.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is one of these new smartphones from the Chinese brand that has dropped the “Mi” label. But apart from the name change, it doesn’t really differ much from the old classic Mi 11 Lite 5G, except at the level of the integrated SoC. Therefore, we find once again a good value for money, which today has been remarkably improved thanks to a saving of 120 euros on the initial price of the phone.
The data sheet of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
- One 6.55-inch 90Hz AMOLED Full HD display
- A powerful Snapdragon 778G supported by 6GB of RAM
- A versatile camera thanks to three sensors on the back
- A 4250 mAh battery for a full day of use
Instead of the usual 369 euros, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE -in its version with 6 + 128 GB- is available today on sale for only 249 euros in Mi Store thanks to an immediate discount of 70 euros and a ODR of 50 euros. To obtain this price, it is essential to choose the “Mint Green” color of the smartphone.

Almost the same smartphone as the Mi 11 Lite 5G
The Chinese brand has not tried too hard to differentiate its Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, since it is almost the same smartphone as the Mi 11 Lite 5G launched shortly before. We found the same template with a diagonal of 6.55 inches and the same AMOLED screen showing a Full HD + definition of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Note, however, that this smartphone loses 1 gram compared to the ‘other and that is protected on the front by Gorilla Glass 5, instead of Gorilla Glass 6 on the classic Mi 11 Lite 5G.
For the photo, we obviously see the same device consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 5-megapixel macro, not to mention the 20-megapixel front camera. It is not surprising then that this composition, but it still offers great versatility – special mention for portrait and macro modes – while offering a decent quality of captured images. The result is a little less satisfactory at night, but it is quite normal for this price range.
The autonomy is also the same between the two smartphones, since the 11 Lite 5G NE is also equipped with a 4,250 mAh battery capable of withstanding a whole day with intensive use. Therefore, it will need to be recharged every night or every morning, depending on your convenience. In addition, the 33W fast charge allows you to quickly recover percentages: from 6 to 100% in just 1 hour.
A difference in SoC, but without power
If the classic Mi 11 Lite 5G integrates a Snapdragon 780G, this NE version adopts a somewhat less powerful Qualcomm processor to lower the bill a few euros. This is the Snapdragon 778G, but the raw performance is almost identical. This configuration is backed by 6GB of RAM and allows you to enjoy a smooth user experience, as well as an equally great gaming experience, even with graphics pushed to the limit in some games.
If the design does not change fundamentally, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE has the peculiarity of bringing new colors that are a little more striking, from bubblegum blue to peach pink and bright white. Therefore, the Chinese brand has given itself a little more fantasy for those who do not use a transparent protective shell.
