The launch event is scheduled for April 26 for the Xiaomi Poco F4 GT. This phone seems made to play, as its name “GT” suggests.
The Poco F4 GT has an official announcement date. In fact, Xiaomi has sent out the invitations for its presentation event. The date is set for April 26 at 8:00 p.m. Chinese time, or 2:00 p.m. on the same day in metropolitan France time. The event will be broadcast live on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
The same chip as the Xiaomi 12 Pro
The phone is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K50 Gaming. Good news for those looking for a gaming phone at a low price, the one that is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, one of the most powerful chips of the moment.
Another clue suggests that the Poco F4 GT will indeed have an 8 Gen 1. A test carried out on Geekbench with a Xiaomi with the unpronounceable name of 21121210G, which could in fact be the Poco F4 GT, showed a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
However, we must be careful with these Geekbench leaks, which are relatively easy to manipulate.
However, we can see that, on paper, everything seems to correspond to the Redmi K50 Gaming. Specifically, we find 12 GB of RAM and MIUI 13 in its Android 12 version. If we get used to the Redmi data sheet, the Poco F4 GT would also have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ Oled screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus . , three rear sensors (64 megapixels, 8 megapixels and 2 megapixels) as well as a 4700 mAh battery compatible with 120W charging.
Remember that the Poco F3 GT unfortunately did not reach us. As is often the case with Xiaomi, we will have to wait until this launch has passed in China before knowing a possible arrival date in France.
