Xiaomi will introduce a new smartphone this week and we already know all about it. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is the most powerful smartphone in the Redmi Note 11 range.
The Redmi Note family occupies an important place in Xiaomi and is about to receive a new representative. At the end of January, the Chinese brand announced the European launch of the Redmi Note 11, Note 11S and Note 11 Pro (5G). Four smartphones, including a very attractive and affordable Redmi Note 11. However, one model is missing when this series is made official: the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G.
The smartphone has been available in China for a few months and everything indicates that it will soon land in Europe. On social networks, Xiaomi announces an event on Tuesday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. for the launch of the “Redmi Note 11 more powerful”. Xiaomi does not say more about its announcement, but there is little doubt about the identity of this smartphone.

A future bestseller?
Thanks to its presentation, we already know almost everything about the Redmi Note 11 Pro+. In effect, its “European” data sheet should not present major differences with the versions already available. The only question is whether the device will be inspired by the Chinese or Indian variant. In any case, this smartphone will be equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ definition (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G wants to establish its spearhead status for the brand. Two options currently hold the rope: like the “Chinese” version, it could carry a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip and a 4,500 mAh battery compatible with 120 W fast charging; or treat yourself to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 and 67W fast charging for its 5,000mAh battery. We will have to wait until March 29 to know precisely what Xiaomi has in store for us.
A 120W load?
The presence of 120W charging would be a first for the Redmi series and would make the device stand out. As for the “Indian” version under Snapdragon, we would not really see a difference with the already presented Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G will be, as its name suggests, compatible with 5G bands. It could be available in three variants: 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB, classic formulas for Xiaomi that will bet on Android 12 and the MIUI 13 overlay.
As for the part of the photo, it will be similar to that of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. A 108-megapixel main sensor (wide-angle, f/1.9) will accompany an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro module. Up front, a 16-megapixel selfie camera will sit in the hole-punch display.
For the rest, we hope to find a smartphone compatible with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC. It should also retain a 3.5mm jack, while a USB-C port will be present. Finally, the fingerprint sensor will be placed on the side, while the stereo speakers will be compatible with Dolby Atmos.
What will be the price in euros of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G?
Pending the officialization of the smartphone, the leaker SnoopyTech announces that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G will start at 449 euros. The version of 256 euros would be shown at 499 euros, but the amount of integrated RAM is not specified.
