Boursorama breaks all records with more than 90,000 new customers in November and has just been chosen as the cheapest bank in France for the fourteenth year in a row.
New year, new consecration for Boursorama. Online banking has once again won the title of “cheapest bank in France”. After revolutionizing online banking, the Société Générale group subsidiary once again demonstrates its excellence by being chosen for the fourteenth consecutive year. Very good news just a few weeks after being voted the best digital bank in Europe by the D-Rating agency.
This ranking was prepared by Le Monde and Meilleurebanque.com, and takes into account the different categories of customers. Boursorama Banque is ranked the least expensive bank in the categories “Idle youth”, “100% mobile follower”, “young worker”, “manager”, “employee” and “top manager”.
A growing customer base
The year 2021 is more than positive for online banking, which managed to attract more than 700,000 new customers from January to November. In 2020, the total figure was 590,000. This growth is not surprising, since the commercial animation of Boursorama Banque has been active, in particular thanks to its Pink Weekends.
November was particularly successful with 91,415 new clients, a new record. By combining very aggressive pricing with an ultra comprehensive range, the Boursorama offering stands out from the crowd. Choosing Boursorama means accessing checking accounts, various bank cards, savings, credit and insurance solutions, while freeing yourself from the limitations of traditional banks.
This is what the CEO, Benoit Grisoni, sums up: “The promise of the lowest rates on the market, a full range of high-performance products and the best digital experience is at the heart of the alternative banking model developed by Boursorama. This is what allows Boursorama to have an already exceptional year 2021 “.
An offer up to 30 times cheaper than traditional banks
Thanks to this strong growth, Boursorama continues to be the leading online bank in France, with more than 3 million customers. In 2020, more than half of customers did not have to pay fees. For daily operations, Welcome and Ultim bank cards and accounts are free and do not require any income conditions. It couldn’t be better for a traditional bank.
A study carried out by Panorabanques estimates that the average annual rate in the banking market in France is 216.70 euros. In 2020, Boursorama customers paid on average … 7.73 euros only in rates.
